Meet Me

This bit is always hard. I never like talking about myself, but here goes...

I’ve always loved photography since the very first time I picked up a camera: I was 8, the camera was a Christmas present and it was bright blue! I remember the first photo I took: I marched my family outside, clutching my magic little device and I ordered them to stand in front of our house while I froze time...and that was it, I was hooked! I’ve been documenting life from that moment on. I’m less forceful nowadays but I’m never far from my camera and still think it’s a thing of pure and utter magic; or at least it helps me capture moments that are.

Unposed natural pictures oozing with emotion and feeling are the ones that I just love to take. They say a picture tells a thousand words and I would have to agree.

My family is a small one but we are super close. I’ve got a brother, he’s my best friend, my husband is my rock and my biggest cheerleader and then my parents who just adore it when we all get together.

I have two bouncing boys, they are both full of energy and keep us on our toes daily. They are now my biggest reason for reaching for my camera and inspire my creativity. Watching the boys grow and develop is an absolute honour but with each passing milestone I’m acutely aware of the importance of documenting our lives together.

When I’ve not got my camera in my hand, I love nothing more than sticking some tunes on and cooking up a feast for friends. If I’m not entertaining I’m usually found outside, either reading a good book or having some adventure (all captured on my camera obviously)! Skiing is a big passion and shooting a wedding in the snow is absolutely on my wedding bucket list so if this is what you are planning why not get in touch ;)
