I first met Ruth in the gym, more specifically in a circuits class and we hit it off, it might have been our mutual love hate relationship of the burpee, or our enthusiasm to push ourselves at 6.30 every morning (more like 7am by the time we got started). Anyway I was thrilled to be able to photograph her and her wonderful little family following the arrival of little Arlo.

Arlo was full of smiles and clearly takes after his happy parents. After being introduced to some of Arlo’s favourite toys and having a good old play we documented the family’s familiar daily stroll (thanks Covid) around a slightly chilly Manchester.

I can’t wait to return in a few months time when Arlo is tottering about, no doubt he will be full of mischief in the best possible way!
